I have decided to make this topic in order to summarize the gameplay styles about every single race in the game,including their pro's and cons. This regards most of the things you will find ingame.

Humans
Humans, a race that is defined as the youngest and least advanced and formidable race in the game. They are extremely adaptable, and quick learners. Thanks to their tenacity, they are a race to be reckoned with.
PRO's:
- Very versatile
- Abundant in ship numbers
- When ships die they deal damage to nearby friendlies or foes; and knocks them back.
CON's:
- Not as advanced as all the other races
- Population growth rate is average
- Research is unpredictable(theories)
The subfaction of the humans are Pirates, Zealots and Survivors.
Verunas
The Verunas, Massive intellectual titans, are the most advanced species in the game at this present time in the Novus Æterno universe. Fielding extremely heavy ships and the strongest weapons the universe can deliver, the verunas had the largest empire covering several galaxies. They have gone so far in research that they cannot go further.
PRO's:
-The most advanced race in the game
- The strongest ship hulls in the game
- The most advanced weapons in the game (Lightslingers)
- Research is random and rewarded through combat
- Ships are immune to Knockbacks and buffs friendlies upon death; but deals damage
CON's:
- Ships are much slower
- Population growth rate is extremely low
- Ship CP cost is expensive, making fleets smaller
The subfactions of the Verunas are the Outcasts, The Savages and the Strangers.
Cauldron Born
The most advanced artificial beings in the universe constructed by the Verunas, that eventually got their independence. Masters of the universe's most sophisticated nanotechnology, they engineered a intergalactic empire that relied on pure objective logic to progress.
PRO's:
- Abundance in ships
- Versatile
- Uses drones instead of fighters and bombers(much more customizeable and versatile)
- Strong repairers (and debuffers maybe?)
CON's:
Unknown at this moment.
Their subfactions are The Broken. The Loyalists, and the Superiors.
The Acean
The oldest race in the galaxy, Aceans are the most advanced biological race. They consist of hives built upon millions of millions of role specific biologically enhanced creatures. Aceans engineer and grow biological specimens capable of space flight, and pretty much any other role one could imagine. They travel the universe to harvest DNA and incorporate into their own, making their research as simple as travelling the galaxy harvesting dna from planets.
PRO's:
- Very large numbers
- Versatile
- Biological weapons (claws, etc)
- DNA harvesting research
CON's:
- lack of ranged weaponry? (not confirmed)
Unknown.
Their subfactions are The Ferals, The Mutants and The Sapients.
The Azsendi
Creatures made of a crystalline-like substance, able to harness and control cosmic energy, allowing them to use it for many things that are beyond the understanding of science. This race is the race with least information.

The only information about their combat capabilities are telekinetic powers and the ability to summon forth Asteroids or asteroid showers in the midst of combat; Making this race a skill-shot oriented combat race. They will also have their assortment of weird weapons.
Their Subfactions are The Byonders, The Enlightened, and The Heretics.
Fighters & Bombers
Every race has a good assortement of different fighters and bombers. There are however different amounts of squadron numbers for each race. (will build on F&B's when more info is available)
