That would solve the issue, but will there be a tool to map the image onto the ship where you want it

I can't stress this enough, custom hulls should be free, charector customization should always be Free. Xbox live let's it's user base put whatever they want on their profile, and people can report bad words or racicm or whatever and a moderator will look at it. This makes more sense then having people look at every skin. Because only the suggestive skins have to be lOoked at and nOt every skin. This means less wOrk for moderators and happy players.

Think about this EVERY person who uploads a custom skin they made them self YOU need to download as you start the game. sooooo 5000 people make there own skin you get stick for 3 hours downloading 5000 custom skins IF we allow custom uploading of skins then it needs to be regulated in some way or els it will brake out in total chaos.

but almost everything will be free we are not greedy as im sure we have said about 10 times over you do not even pay for expansion packs or anything.

AND custom hulls if you mean statically as in custom designed ships... well that's the ONLY way to build a ship. and if you mean graphical well that's the only way to color is a ship is to custom designed your fleets color scheme

You clearly don't realize that you only need to dOwnload skins of people close to you, and if there are too many people in one area you can stop having users download skins while they are in that area.

I say we just put this to rest I doubt it will change and i would not mind paying for such things. One other cool idea is skins or re skins of parts that are given out somehow, like hats. Every good game has hats, in fact lets put hats on the ships....
